ON-SITE MODEL PRINTING
At Dobson Ortho Laboratory, we have chosen to use Stratasys brand printers for both their speed and precision. We can take and print any STL file that you provide to us and provide an appliance or study model. We currently have Stratasys and FormLabs printers on-site.
CAD DESIGNED APPLIANCES
We offer and design Sintered Metal Appliances. This ranges from Hyrax and Mini Hyrax expanders to habit designs to space maintaining designs! If you are interested in more information, check out the our Sintered Metals page.

DIGITAL TOOTH RESETS
The days of plaster and wax are long gone. If you need a little rotation to finish off a case, no problem! We can do that on the computer and build the movement right into the STL file before it even goes to print. If you want to double check the setup, we can export it in an email-sized 3DPDF document.
3D PDF VIEWER
Upon request, we can provide to you a 3D PDF document containing your diagnostic or treatment set-up in an emailable PDF document that can be viewed with Adobe Reader. This viewer will allow you to see both the reference and simulation/treatment models on one screen. Because it is 3D rendered, you are able to move the model in any direction to get the view you need. Because 3Dx utilizes Adobe Reader, you are allowed to markup the document with your comments, save, and send them back to us for review.
BRACKET & ARCH WIRE REMOVAL
Just as has been traditionally done with traditional impressions, we can accurately remove the brackets from a digital model so that the appliance can be seated at the debond appointment without fear of relapse. While not recommended, we can accurately remove the archwire from a digital model so that the appliance can be seated at the debond appointment without fear of relapse.
